Gang, I'm gonna do my 2024 wrap up for food review. We're gonna be starting with some honourable mentions and then my top 3 favourite. Honourable mentions, the first one we have is Amachi's Pala Garam's Egg Appam Coconut Sambal for RM5.50. Still remember to this day, it was so unique and it does feel like a generational recipe. The next one y'all tag me the most one, Thorigen Ramen. I tried their original with egg. I like my ramen with thick, thick soup. Thorigen had one of the thickest, richest ramen broth I've tasted. Yang seterusnya, Sainah Cafe. When we wanna go back Sarawak, this is one of our first stops. Their kolok merah with wontan for RM10. Sedap nak mam. At last, my top 3 favourites. Number 3 convinced me that I actually like chicken Korean BBQ. It is Palgewuk. Their RM33 soy chicken memang sedap but what really took the cake for me was their boneless chicken neck. Taste feels like a marriage between satay and bacon. Number 2 was by complete luck it happened at an event. I was asked to try it. To be honest, a bit hesitant. Lepas satu swap, I was convinced that crepes are actually good. It's from Crepe Rabi, Durian Crepes. Their bigger version which I prefer, RM15 because for the better durian to whipped cream ratio one. If you have the occasional craving for durian, can guarantee this will satisfy it. And my top 1 favourite food of 2024 is Ashree Show Shedap's Spaghetti Salted Egg Prawn for RM32.90 and I gave it a 9.8. I love it that they just keep it so simple. The creamy egg saltedness of it plus the chilli spice, what a harmonious combo. It's a very fresh prawn, 5 pieces of it. The girlfriend really liked those. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta. Here's to hoping 2025 we can discover even more sedap punya food. That punya food. That punya food. That punya food. The average prawn is a good choice. That punya food. That punya food.
