The verdict
BolehJason gives the Portuguese egg tart a 7.3 — a new tasting experience, though sweeter and pricier than his usual and he'd rate it lower on a repeat visit. The brioche bun with coconut crumbles was too dry for him, but the sloppy croissant offered a unique cakey, buttery texture. Located on Central Market's mezzanine with a view of River of Life.

Adriana asked me to try Bartolo Bakehouse, Adam Blevine's new bakery. You can find it perched on top of Central Market's Mezzanine. Are we going to eat the croissant? The interior is basic, spacious, outside you have a view on the river of life. RM24, 2 pastries but I'll be adding one more later. Second best seller, which one was it again? The brioche bun with coconut crumbles. RM12. Very dry, in the middle it starts to get doughy and chewy. Tinge of that coconut flavour. It's very dry, it's not for me. 3, 2, 1, 5. What about the sloppy croissant? The sloppy croissant is literally a croissant from my favourite bakery in Lisbon, right next to where I grew up. And I flew a chef from Portugal and asked him to make this because this is my breakfast every time I go back to Portugal. The owner told me this is his favourite croissant in that small town of Otukul that he lived. He said it's not a typical French croissant. First of all, the texture inside surprised me. More cakey than I thought. I was expecting like this crispy outside and flaky inside. And immediately I can taste the buttery, sweet flavour. And there's some saltiness as well. Girlfriend mentioned something about the texture that made me think, At least this is something different that we taste. A bit sweet for some, almost potong kaki level. What is the one thing you would recommend someone to try here? Hectars. Saturdays like this were producing 700-800 hectares a day. It was sold out when I came so they were creating a new batch and it took them half an hour. The fresh batch is ready and immediately everyone inside the bakery was killing it. Someone above was smiling on me because I was next in line and there was literally one egg tart left. Last piece of Portuguese egg tart, 6 ringgit 60 cents. Actually it's not bad! They also recommended us to try it with cinnamon. The cinnamon make it way better. I think it would be too sweet for some of you. 7.3 It's a new tasting experience but if I ate it again I'll probably rate it lower. It's my preference this is more custard than jello And the taste is more sugar than eggy. And it's pricier than my usual Portuguese egg tarts. I also asked a fellow first-timer on their experience here. Chima? Yes? Do you remember which pastry you tried? Pao de Leo? I'm not sure if I pronounced it right. It's like a sponge cake. One thing I like about it is the buffiness. I don't know but that's something like leaking. I want to know your rating for that. 6 over 10. Over, under your expectation or just? Under. Has anyone told you look like Adam Levine from Maroon Fight? This summer I dyed my hair so I bleached my hair and everyone was telling me that joke. Your name? David, David. Okay thanks David. Yes thank you so much. for using me to sign up. Because I'm here to show you my name is Adam Levine. Remember? After all of a sudden, I am going to try and share it with me. And I love her husband. They were so lucky. And طالما TBA's already worked on my hand. I'll get that. I will put first and all of a sudden try again. After all of a sudden, I went out. When I had a new Henrique and Maroonite. Here my life came in. You can actually use Dubai, right? There's only a night when I started out.
