We finally got to try this Korean BBQ buffet called BBQ Town in Mid Valley and it's halal. It was a Saturday and the queue was long, it was completely packed inside. I decided to record the time to see how long we were going to wait and the staff took our orders first. They waste no time. We waited 46 minutes. Is it worth it? They have all the usual side dish. Inelki is my favourite. We only took one plate of side dish to leave as much room for the meat. It's a strategy. Yes! For the sauce they recommend garlic, chopped chilies, with any dip we chose barbecue sauce and lime juice to finish the combo. I'm so messy! Kacau and the sauce is done. Beef and also their lamb. In my experience, this type of grill usually takes long to cook but this one was much quicker. So hungry! First was the beef, it was fresh and they had that creamy aftertaste. Pair it with the sauce, it was magical. You can choose between chicken or spicy soup. I didn't hear good things about the spicy one so we picked chicken. Let me know if you like the spicy soup. The lamb was just as good. Fresh, tender and doesn't have that super strong lamb smell. I'm sure you know what I mean. The biggest surprise for me was their fried chicken. It was good, the batter feels light, it was slightly sweet, crispy and the juiciness was just... Machista yo! They don't have a bell to call for service like if you want to order extra meat. Their drinks today was orange juice and green tea. They have prawns in their buffet menu. We grilled it and also put it in the chicken soup. My girlfriend hates peeling prawns but she's doing it for me. So sweet! Honestly, I think without this magical sauce, this prawn would have been a 2 out of 10. Dry and stale. Our dessert was chocolate and sea salt ice cream. The chocolate was good, it wasn't thick, in fact it was a bit watery. Surprisingly, I preferred the sea salt flavour. It was salty, sweet and tasted something like paddle pop. Total came up to RM104. Without the prawn or ice cream, it's a 10 out of 10 for us. Now JB, you better come here and try.
