The verdict
BolehComfort food at a painful price — the chicken is cooked beautifully and coated in sauce inside out, but the drinks and sides don't justify the cost. The signature version scores 7.3 while the spicy one is ironically milder at 6.7.

This halal jimtak cost me 30 ringgit. It's called Bongchu braised chicken in one utama. Coke Zero tastes like Coke Zero and it's 5 ringgit, mahang yeh. This Earl Grey tea is even more expensive but I have to admit it has a good pekatness. Yeah definitely got a thick taste. In my opinion too expensive for tea, 6 out of 10. Hello signature Bongchu braised chicken. Spicy version! It comes with the usual Korean side dish. I can tell you right now I don't feel so bad about the price because the chicken was cooked so well. We had it boneless and it was juicy. And the most important thing for me is you can taste the sauce on the chicken inside out. Potato is just potato, I guess it makes the dish more filling, carbs la right? The glass noodle gets a good toing rating from them. So chewy, kimchi was sour and salty enough which is good. Seaweed flakes was crunchy and tasty also good. Pickled lemon and cucumber was quite sour not my taste. The sauce very spicy, take it non-spicy if you cannot tahan. I can tell it's thick and savoury but not enough kick for my Malaysian taste part. 7.3 This is their spicy braised chicken which ironically is less spicy than their original version. Same side dish! The chicken itself is just as delicious. And I don't really like toboki but I can tell this is quality, the chewiness is there. It's a typical toboki sauce sweet slightly sour. You can taste the chilli powder but it's not really spicy, 6.7 Total damage 80 ringgons. Don't pay raku sake! It's comfort food at a painful price.
