The verdict
BolehJason finds Dino Desert a fun-but-shallow outing: 144 animatronic dinosaurs, a fossil area and a great sunset top view, but it lacks interactivity and stroller access. Best suited for families with kids rather than couples or solo visitors. Tickets are RM55 (RM45 for kids 12 and below) and the whole loop takes about 1.5 hours.

- Taste: Only one food vendor selling cinema and fast-food style snacks
- Ambiance: Clean family park with a fun playground, but all stairs and not stroller friendly
- Other: Takes about 1.5 hours to explore; come around sunset for the top view photo

I'm officially a raptor rider. From dinosaurs to a playground and a top view, Dino Desert is the largest dinosaur park in Malaysia, located in Sungai Long Hill. There's 3.5 stars on Google reviews. Is this what Nima Land could have been? Many potholes on the way there, and bring an umbrella just in case. There's no queue. RM55 per ticket, RM45 for 12 and below. Dinosaur ride at the entrance. Oh f***, how do I get down? There's 144 life-size dino models, yes, including a long neck. They are animatronics which means, how lifelike is it? Their wittle hands move, their eyes can blink, fin looking thing moves, tails wag, stomach breathes, their mouth opens and out comes a roar. Sometimes the roar is out of sync. Oh, lip sync issue. Sometimes there's no roar at all. There's also a fossil area where you can see the dinosaurs inside out. That includes the long neck. It's cool they have info boards on the dino. The whole place took an hour and a half to explore, but there is a spot to eat and take a break. There's only one food vendor. Stuff you'd get from a cinema or fast food chain. There's plenty of seats. To the parents who are bringing strollers. All stairs and no ramps. This place is not stroller friendly. But families would still come here for the playground. It's clean, looks safe and incredibly fun for kids. For us, the final thing was the top view. Definitely recommend being here around sunset for that photo.
