The verdict
SkipJason calls this RM36 pasta cafe a tourist trap for locals — pretty urban-rainforest vibes but the food disappoints. Cold, jellat pasta and stale toastie drag it down; only the chocolate cake is decent.

I tried this RM36 cafe pasta. It's called Elephant Resort in Wanutama. One thing I cannot deny, the place looks good, it's like an urban rainforest. They want you to feel like a holiday retreat. Hello, RM11 double lime. Super sour and nothing else yet is more than 3 times the price of limau ice. 4 out of 10. The soft shell chili crab pasta is al dente. And the sauce, although creamy and a bit spicy, it gets jellat very fast. It's the crab. The soft shell crab is crispy but it tastes more like raw crab than the actual seasoning. This pasta feels like pre-made catering food. 4.5 out of 10. Jellat na mampus. It's so cold here, everything is freezing. I think that's one of the reasons why this salmon toastie is so cold. Hard and stale. This guy named Jason also said his garlic bread was hot. Salmon was okay, okay la. The salad sauce, you know, tasted like what? DBKL truck juice. But I think at this point it's my taste bud problem. But even with just the toasty, it's a 3.8. The chocolate cake I think is okay. Creamy, very rich, not too spongy. For 16 ringgit at slice, 6.5. Total damage. Don't pay raku nangis. For me, this place is a tourist trap for locals. I'm gonna go get her girlfriend some flowers and she doesn't know it. She's still at the restaurant. I got her gift. Happy Valentine's.
