Jason says skip the Gardenia curry noodles at 2/10 and go for the chicken flavor at 6/10, a stronger tastier version of Chintan. Even then, regular Maggi curry is the better buy.

Highlights

  • Price: Almost RM4 each at 7-Eleven
  • Taste: Chicken flavor is better than Chintan; curry is tasteless.
  • Ambiance: Casual convenience store taste test
  • Other: Onion oil taste is stronger than expected

Gardenia got noodles? Yes sir, we'll be trying chicken and curry. We bought this at 7-11 and it costs almost RM4 each. Kacau, kacau, kacau, it's already! Ok, moment of truth, time to try out the gardenia noodles. 3, 2, 1. Curry flavor review, bum. Ok, so there are small spices but as compared to their taste is actually not bad eh. Chicken flavor review, bum. Taste almost exactly the same as chintan. The onion taste ah, from the oil, it's like a bit more fekat. A bit stronger, the onion taste. I don't remember how chintan me tastes. I don't think the curry is that good. Because we put very little water but it still is like quite tasteless. The chicken is way better. If you want to buy the gardenia noodle get the chicken. With any water? Alright! Together we say out of 10, we start with the chicken one first. No, we start with the curry one first. Ok. In 3, 2, 1. 2 out of 10. 6. I'll give it a 6. Maggie curry is better and I think this is even more expensive than Maggie curry. Nope, Maggie is more expensive! Even if the same price, just get Maggie curry. Yeah lah, I can, I can. Now for the chicken one. 3, 2, 1. Same. It's been a long while since I tasted chintan and it is slightly better than chintan. Chintan is a good blend. This is like a stronger, tastier version of chintan. They're all hats! That's it, that's our review.
