We tried this highly-reviewed Hutton Lane roti bakar. As expected, a lot of people, so I wanted to see how long it takes to reach our turn. I like that they have a good range of roti bakar to choose from and also roti canai. Drinks are typical, pause if you want to see it. The queue was long but luckily there's a bodybuilding show. Speaking of shows, this is definitely one worth watching. Something about these guys preparing roti bakar is just so appetising, so look away if you haven't eaten yet, ok? I mean, they definitely passed the smell test. Plus 1 for using traditional style roti. Yay, we finally reached the front line and it took us about 27 minutes. Judging from the colour of the shell, it does not look like kampung eggs but it still passes the jiggle test. Say hello to my minions that I'm hanging out with in this adventure. Dish number 1 is roti canai Hutton Lane and it comes with curry chicken. My friend here taking a big chomp and the verdict. I mean, look at his face. But it's ok la, I think he really likes it. Dish number 1 is a blowing kiss out of 10. This one is roti bakar telur goyang garlic. Combo of garlic, butter and egg goes together naturally and Momoko agrees. The toast is cloudy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The egg is creamy and it comes with cheese. It's almost like a fusion of pizza and toast. The drinks are nothing special, it's what you'd expect. This breakfast for 6 came up to exactly 50 ringgit. Affordable, delicious and different. If only I can deliver this back from Penang to PJ.
