The verdict
SkipJason leaves thoroughly unimpressed by this hidden Damansara Jaya restaurant, calling the food bland and wildly overpriced at RM84.70 for two dishes. The clay pot mushroom rice scored 3.5/10 and the Kampung spring chicken didn't justify its RM38 price tag. He jokes he must lack 'T20 taste buds' to appreciate it.
Highlights

You're going to this place called Lee. And this is how my girlfriend lost 84 ringgit 70 cents, kuey teow nye. You can say it's a hidden restaurant in Damansarajaya. Customer service was very good but the minute I look at the menu, mahan amampus. Do you always change the menu? I've been every 6 months. This is only for dinner or the whole day? For dinner only. Oh so lunch is a different menu la. Yes, lunch and dinner, different menu. This is the clay pot mushroom rice with soy caramel and pickles. No doubt the style of this dish are the mushrooms. It's really fragrant, got a bit of sweet taste, a bit salty, but other than that, you're just getting clay pot rice. That's nothing special, definitely not worth the price. And the flavours did not stick to the rice, it was so bland. For 35 ringgit, 3.5 out of 10. Hello Kampiong spring chicken shop. You have to order rice separate. Wow, 38 ringgit chicken shops still have to add rice. So cool! Make sure to use their lime to get the maximum flavour because I can tell you this dish is super blessed. The chicken is cooked well but a lot of kopi tiam can do the same and much cheaper. I had to ask the girlfriend's opinion. What about the chicken itself? It's nice but I'm not sure I meant 38 bucks. I don't really get how they can charge so expensive for this kind of chicken. Even the sauce doesn't taste like Kampiong. More like curry here. Definitely doesn't justify the price at all. Like what the **** is this place? The crazy part is they want this or what? I think it's because I don't have T20 taste buds. At least they give me brown rice, huh? Total damage 84-70. Do you think a lot of people come here to feel bougie?
