Pasta Awesome

I'm dining in Pasta Awesome for the first time, and we have to start with one of their most popular dish. Carbonara but this is good, very grilled flavour. They make me like two things that I don't usually like. Both carbonara and chicken chop, and I've tried both dine-in and delivery, overall it tastes fresher, the noodle is bouncier and from sometimes delivery, I get the mushy-mushy when 7.8. Dish number 2, aleo oleo add on Australian beef brisket. Mahana Mappers, they marinated this red meat for 12 hours. What you get is a salty sweet, although a bit dry but still juicy piece of meat. That half-day marination does make the flavours pop. The texture reminds me of Mappers, the sweet-salty beef brisket sauce is a good combination with the slightly oily al dente aleo oleo. Out of everything good about it, al dente aleo oleo, very tasty beef brisket. The one that we had was slightly overdone which is why it was a bit too dry and the sauce sweetness was over here, saltiness over here. I wish it was a bit more balanced, but it's still a tasty dish 7.3. Say hello to their new masa lemak pasta with smoked beef, 14 ringgit 90 cents. It's a lunch set that comes with this cream cheesecake and drink. It tastes exactly like masa lemak but that's the problem for me, it's not matching with pasta. The pasta has cooked well but somehow I feel like it's not the best of matches. I like the beef smoky taste but it's overly chewy and dry. They're okay separately but together, mm-mm, 6.
