A mixed-bag Thai festival at Subang Parade with 20-30 vendors; the cockles were the standout while the pad thai disappointed. Worth a stroll for Thai snacks, but skip the overpriced coke jelly.

Here's my experience in the Thai festival happening this week at Subang Parade and I just want to know how long is it? We walk end-to-end, I think there's about 20-30 vendors here. I like it because in my experience, the one with many vendors just repeat the same stuff. Perfect segue because you can expect the same popular Thai dishes here than any other festival. Just look at the amount of fist bump! Finally got our first thing of the day, courtesy of the girlfriend, Thai milk tea, apa lagi? Damage is RM10 for both the Thai milk tea or the green version. I asked the owner whether the ingredients were sourced from Thailand and answer is yes so take it for what it's worth. The taste reminds me of the one I had in Bangkok, it's good. 7 out of 10. The only thing I didn't see in other Thai festivals, I'm going to try this later. And it's not a Thai meal if we don't order cockles. Tapi mahana mempers! Mini activities like catching ikan bilis here but you and I both know it's all about the food here like this fried egg mussel which I wanted to order but was too full. They have your wholesome insect bug snacks. They let you try first before buying and I still cannot get used to the taste. The only reason we came here for the girlfriend's favourite banana egg pancake. This video wouldn't exist without it. Cockles were raw which is the way we like it. Marinated so well with the sweet sour salty Thai sauce. It's juicy and huge plus point because every shell is peeled open for you. It's an A. Our main cost was a 15 ringgit patai. The flavours came through but the noodles was too mushy. 6.5 Banana egg pancake sweetness just right, milky and creamy but I wish it was a bit more crispy. 7.2 Finally you're looking at a 10 ringgit what they call coke jelly that tastes exactly like coke. I don't say this often but save your money on this one go buy a big bottle of coke for one third the price add some crushed ice and you have the same thing. 0.5 I feel cheated
