There's a special type of restaurant inside. You see, our first time in Bangkok, we ate at a floating market in Icon Siam and I saw a video showing this type of concept in Cheras. How does it stack up to the real thing? I don't know lah, the river looks like your out-of-station sort of rich uncle's backyard pond. I think it's really thoughtful for them to add an air cooler fan. I think it's a beast because it really works, especially when you put it on high. The food took 10-15 minutes to arrive. Steamed squid with spicy lime sauce, girlfriend's glass noodles and my patai. So a Thai dance for us. It looks chewy, which is what I love about patai. I think the noodle texture has done very well. It's a mix of the spicy, the sourness, the sweet and salty, so all of it together. It's a harmonious mixture. Girlfriend, you know why this is your favourite prawn? They peel it for you. Bouncy, the supermarket gamey kind of texture. 16 ringgit average price, prawn not so great, 7.3 per nama cheat. Both of us don't like coriander. This one makes this so much more sense. And also I can see there's garlic. There are prawns, different from the patai. Real prawns, that one feels artificial. Not the biggest prawns but at least they give around 6 to 7 here. And I know why they give a different prawn than this. It's 10 ringgit difference. I quite like the prawns. There's a slight grill and char to it. I think when they mix it with the coriander, the garlic... You get this aloe olio taste. With the toi glass noodles and the tasty prawns, for RM26, I'll still give it an 8.2. Steamed squid spicy lime soup sauce. It's going to be too salty for some of you. This is a flavour bomb. It's 60% spicy, 30% salty and 10% sour. Spicy lime sauce. It has to be a flavour bomb one. If it's not, it's going to be very underwhelming. It's going to be very underwhelming. 39 ringgit, so it all depends on how much sotong they give us. I counted 6 to 7 scoops. I think the squid can be a tiny bit fresher. That's a tinge of fishy taste. 7.8. The one thing I don't like is their drinks. Imagine their Thai milk tea being extra watery and extra perfumey. All of that for RM9. Wow, and then now the ice melted inside. It's a very diluted Thai ice-free. If I come back here, it's definitely for the food. If it gets too hot, I think it's better to just sit inside here. You're not really missing out on the view there. Total damage was RM127.
