Wok Hei

I ate this egg fried rice and ramen for 28 ringgit. It's called wok hei in Sunway Pyramid. This is the egg fried rice with seasoned prawns. The first thing I noticed, this thing is very hot. And the prawns that came with it was fresh and toy-toy but it was not tasty. Even the fried rice hot off the wok did not have much flavour. This one doesn't have the wok hei. What is wok hei? It's the charred smoky flavour you get from stir fried foods. And this egg fried rice does not have it. This doesn't taste bad but compared to all the other options out there which is cheaper has much more flavour and most importantly for fried rice like this, wok hei, this one doesn't have. And you're paying twice the price eating it in Sunway. I don't feel that it's worth it. 5.5 out of 10. What about this 14 ringgit fresh ramen with grilled chicken? First bite, I already have the strong muak feeling. Take soya sauce taste. Feels like I'm eating overpriced chakwe tiang. The noodle is a bit mushy. And the ramen texture is just like yellow meat. The chicken was juicy tender and fresh but again missing a lot of flavour. Overall, it's mad lah. You can easily get better for cheaper. It's a five. But at least you get the view of people ice skating.
